The Triple Jump Phase Landings Quick Reference Guide is a tool specifically designed to help you coach athletes in the triple jump – whether they are beginners or more advanced.

The resource outlines the “ideal” landing points for each phase of a triple jump (i.e. the hop, step and jump) to achieve a total target distance.


How Do I Use It?

Simply look up the target distance listed in the resource to find the recommended landing points.

You can then measure out and put target markers next to these suggested landing points to provide young athletes with a visual cue.

Theoretically, if the athlete reaches each of the markers, they will jump the total distance.
